Diploma in Optometry

The Diploma in Optometry is a two-year program that provides students with the knowledge and skills they need to work as optometric assistants or technicians. The course covers a wide range of topics, including anatomy and physiology of the eye, visual optics, refractive errors, ocular diseases, contact lenses, and dispensing of eyeglasses and contact lenses. 

There are some institutes that prefer students to have completed their 10th std, while there are institutes that prefer that students must have completed their 12th std.  

The duration of this course ranges between 6 months to 1 Year.

The course fee ranges between INR 25,000/- to INR 75,000/-.
