Online Basic course in RIRS with Direct Scope Suction program is for practising urologists and urology resident doctors who want to learn Retrograde intrarenal surgery (RIRS). The RIRS is the least invasive endourology procedure for doing surgery within the kidney using a viewing tube called a fiberoptic endoscope. In this procedure, the scope is placed through the urethra (the urinary opening) into the bladder and then through the ureter into the urine-collecting part of the kidney. The course provide a basic understanding and procedure overview through online lectures, procedure videos and live interations with experts.
